As a former journalist and public relations consultant, who now runs her own business as a website copywriter, starting Words for Websites was a dream opportunity.
I have the pleasure of working with small business owners who know their business inside out, who make smart – and quick - decisions, and can tell me exactly what they want from their website. No roundtable committee meetings about blue or green backgrounds, font size or text placement! You know what you want your website to do, who you want to target and what you expect me to deliver when it comes to writing copy for your website.
My background as an Australian journo means that I will spend some time “interviewing” you to find out as much as I can about your business. All the work is managed over the phone or via email, saving you time and money. Of course, if you want to meet face to face (and you live in Sydney!) I’m happy to catch up for a coffee and chat.
Once I’ve got as much information as I need about your business – for example: what you do, why you do it, who are your ideal customers and who are your competitors - I hit the computer to create the magic your website needs. When that’s done I send it through for your approval, and I work on it until you are 100 per cent happy. All copy is ORIGINAL content and unique to your website – ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for search engine ranking.
